Availability 2010-2011 Season

Missouri Judges:

Are you ready for the start of the 2010-2011 gymnastics season?  Two documents are attached.  The first is your availability form.   Please fill it out in its entirety.  It needs to be returned to Gina Fuller by August 1, 2010.

The second form is a blanket contract stating that you will be assigned by NAWGJ to meets this season.  To be legally covered by insurance when you judge, we need the hand written signature on this form.  By doing this, we can then continue to assign meets via email; contracts can be sent and returned as we have been doing in the past.  If you do not have access to email, please let us know asap as this is the method of communication that we will be using.  The form needs to be returned with your availability and you will not be assigned to any meets until it has been returned.

Please also send your resume of credentials.  MO NAWGJ needs a copy of all cards before we can assign you to a meet.  If you will be renewing soon, please send a copy of your current card anyway.  As you renew, please update our records with a copy of your new card.  A copy of the following cards should be sent along with your availability:

1.       NAWGJ Membership #N:  Membership Required to contract through NAWGJ Assignor.

2.            USAG# w/ Exp. Date:  Required by USAG Sanctioned meets to officiate.  Should also have you Safety Certification and Background check expiration dates on it.  Please make sure that you have a PROFESSIONAL membership.

3.            If your 2009-2010 CPE form is not already turned in, send it to Gina Fuller asap.  You will not be assigned until this is complete.

Just a reminder:

NAWGJ judges are contracted based on USAG requirements found in Rules and Policies, at the request of meet directors or the State Committee, geographic location, and rotation.

Contracts will be retracted if at the time of competition the official; no longer holds current memberships with USAG & NAWGJ, lacks CPE compliance, or no longer holds the rating required for competition as contracted.

If by the date of competition a higher rating has been achieved, the Official will be paid according to the new rating.  Please bring your new USAG card showing your new rating for verification.

All Officials are to have their USAG CARD VISIBLE during competitions.  All Officials should wear the NAWGJ Uniform of Navy suit and white blouse.  You may wear either pants or skirts with the uniform.  Regarding shoes, please consider that you may be walking on soft mats and gym floors.

Judges can expect to have event assignments on all four disciplines.  You may also be asked to be the meet referee.

If you are contracted to a meet and an emergency comes up, contact the assignor of the meet to let her know.  It is then YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find a replacement with the coordination of the assignor.  She will let you know the rating required and any other specifics concerning the meet.  Let her know when you have found the replacement.

PLEASE RETURN THREE DOCUMENTS to Gina Fuller; 2506 Johnson Pl. Dr.  Manchester, MO  63021 (ginabfuller@msn.com):  AVAILABILITY FORM, NAWGJ CONTRACT w/ hand written signature, and COPIES OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARDS.  CPE forms should also be turned in if they have not already.

We look forward to a great season!  Gina and Amy
